So the famous Adilson and Telma are coming to Brisbane. Finally we have Angolans, directly from Angola, coming to teach and dance with us! And you would like to learn to lead… but it’s daunting… and the Weekender is coming too fast! What to do, what to do…
Well, here’s your chance! Prove to us that you can lead well enough by March 21, and win a Leader Pass (worth $250)!
How to join the challenge:
- Contact us to register.
- If you are a new leader, dance 150 songs in parties where we can see you. If you are a rusty leader, make it 250 songs. (There are about 50 songs in a 3-hour party, and there are about 8 parties remaining until the Weekender as of this writing)
- (Optional but recommended) Attend Kizomba classes (not Urban Kiz / “fusion”) with any teacher in Brisbane. We’ll give you a logbook to track your classes, and teachers can sign it after each session.
- Final evaluation: At the last party before the weekender, we’ll ask your dance partners if they’d be happy to have you leading in high-level workshops like A&T’s.
Your poll results, combined with the logbook, will determine whether you win a free pass.
